My Vision

I believe that during evolution, human beings became physically detached from the ecological rules that dictate the lives of every creature on earth. Basically we have a deep psychological and emotional bond with the natural world and with animals, and this bond is crucial for our well-being. In the scientific language we call this bond Biophilia.

In recent years we are becoming more and more aware of the healing power of animals. We use this power mainly in animal-assisted therapy, therapeutic horse riding, swimming with dolphins, etc. But this healing power is also present in other parts of our lives – in the fish tank we watch when we are waiting in a clinic, in the petting zoo in our children's school, in our homes while we are listening to birds singing.

But Human-Animal relationships have two sides – our side and the animals' side. When we initiate a project that creates a bond between animals and humans, we have to take special care of our partner animals. Their well-being is our responsibility. When we rear animals we have to provide them all their needs, both physical and mental.

In each and every project I'm involved in, I consider both sides – the human beings that benefit from their bond with the animals and the animals that give us pleasure, tranquility, serenity and satisfaction and open us a window to their wonderful world.
